Launch of
StreamPro
(Swisscom Enterprise live streaming)- Additionally, we've updated some components/libraries to the latest version for optimal browser compatibility.
- enable transcriptions for visitors of a webinar
- QA board is now also available for speakers
We've now completed our Oracle Eloqua Marketing Automation connector.
If you do use
Eloqua
for your newsletter signup and event management flow, you can now easily integrate those with your Veertly events.Contact support or sales for additional information.
Ps. we've published some additional API's to make this work, so perhaps you can use those even if you don't use Eloqua. In the cockpit simply click on your user profile and select API Keys for more details.
We found a small bug on the event page where you can edit your Broadcast messages.
If you made an edit, you had to reload the page to be able to get to edit another message.
Whoopsie, apologies, this bug has been fixed now.
We've also improved how Q&A messages are handled on the Questions Board.
Very long text is now so much easier to read.

Lots of improvements
Today's release contains a lot of little improvements that makes the event experience so much better.
We've improved the styling of the content & answers on your Q&A boards.
A tweak to the behavior of the mainstage customized content when you've also hidden the element means it's now shown when active (no more human error setups possible).
Some of our 'currently active visitors' components where loading content so lightning fast; it might have been confusing as the admin panels would refresh continuously under high-load events. We've now reduced these panel to only retrieve content on first load, so your admin experience should be a lot smoother now as well.
We've also fixed a glitch in some of our location pickers:
- Polls
- Agenda sessions
- Rich text - custom veertly button
Our polls can now be shown as many times as you like to your audience:
- Show Polls dialog when clicking relaunch
- Popup poll dialog on poll close (with votes)
And finally some other small tweaks:
- text color of the help pane
- help navbar first click behavior
- Don't show "join session" if the agenda session doesn't have a location to go to.
- Improved the "closing agenda session dialog" when clicking a veertly button.
- Fix duplication of the double opt-in email template.

Networking Circles
We've made a tweak to our networking circles to make sure your audience has the best experience.
A Circle is now updated to allow for maximum 6 participants.
We've now enabled our webinar Go-Live function.
This allows multiple speakers/hosts to go to the main stage, connect and talk to each-other, and once everyone is ready, they can start the webinar by confirming with GO-LIVE.
Additionally the host sees how many visitors are in the queue.
Visitors arrive in a waiting room and see the message:
You'll join the meeting as soon as it is live!
Once they are allowed in, the "raise hand" feature is explained!
--
Your visitors start in a waiting room queue.
Once you start the webinar (click Go live), all visitors are automatically entering the webinar and they get an explanation of how to ask questions by using the "Raise Hand" feature.
